Q: You have written in many different genres over the years, do you have a favorite?

 

A: I have always liked poetry and it is a great passion of mine, but since NaNo, I've started to really like writing fiction again.  Romance is a new favorite of mine.

 

Q: Do you have a favorite place to write?

 

A: I get my best ideas at the kitchen table.  The kitchen has always been my favorite room in the house.  I have wonderful childhood memories of my mother's and grandmother's kitchens.  We would create wholesome meals from scratch, and I think that's why I get so inspired at the kitchen table.

 

 

 

Q: Do you listen to anything while you write like music or TV?

A: If I'm the only one in the house, I will listen to music.  I will usually play some 80's hair bands or Manilow if I'm in the mood.  I don't have anything on when I'm editing, though.

Q:  What do you like to do when you aren't writing?

A: I love to sing karaoke.  That's probably my favorite thing to do, but I don't get to do it that often.  I do a lot of gardening.  I like to get my hands dirty from time to time.

Q: What is your favorite time of the day?

A: I love to watch the sunrise in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand.
